American McGee's Alice is a twisted rendition of the 'Alice in Wonderland' story. Alice's parents die in a house fire, and Alice is locked up inside a mental institution after repeated attempts at suicide. The game is an interactive horror game, unlike games like Out Of This World, and Resident Evil, you interact with the madness as Alice tries to escape the demented surroundings she's been thrusted into.
